Fair Use? The Fairytale

Since we live under a regime structured by lawyers, it's probably best to assume that concepts such as 'fair use' are only as good as the law firm that represents you.

Freesound.org is an archive of usable sounds for projects.  Most of the archive is under a Creative Commons license which generally means you can use it, but not if you plan to sell something commercially. See Freesound.org for details.
